Drama and presentation skills sessions equip learners with a toolkit of techniques that will allow them to approach formal and everyday activities, from public speaking to making self-introductions, with confidence and ease.

Presentation Skills
The main aim of presentation skills class is to help students become aware of all the different ways in which they communicate, verbally and non-verbally. Over a series of sessions, we build a communication toolkit, elements of which can be applied and adapted to a wide range of situations. Initial sessions focus on developing physical and vocal skills, whilst in later sessions we consider building a robust internal sense of confidence.

LAMDA
As a professional actor, Jess teaches the LAMDA syllabus to individuals wishing to take graded drama exams. Jess currently offers lessons in Acting and in Speaking Verse and Prose.

Drama and Singing
Jess offers casual drama and singing lessons for students with a passion for performing. Formal examinations do not suit all learners, and many students prefer to exercise their dramatic skills in a more relaxed setting. These sessions can be shaped to suit a learner’s interests and often focus on exploring extracts from plays and films.

Drama Workshops
Jess is resident drama coach on the Downing-Keio Summer School, which is held annually at Downing College, Cambridge. She has developed a bespoke English through Drama three-day programme, which is designed to give students the opportunity to practise their English creatively in a safe, collaborative environment.
